Ariana Cramer Langham grew up in Scotland, UK, she married and raised three
daughters in different parts of the US and UK, before she went to the university. She completed her Associates Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida. She completed her Master’s in Science in Counseling Studies in 2007, at the University of Edinburgh. She continued to do a Diploma in Christian Counseling, which she completed in 2009, as well as a Post Qualifying Certificate, Counseling Children & Young People. Ariana works to an integrative model of Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to which other treatment modalities can be added. Ariana’s area of research was in psychological and emotional abuse. This research came about by surviving an emotionally abusive marriage. Ariana’s Christian faith has sustained her throughout her adult life, and it was through being trained in prayer counseling that undergirded the idea that she should study psychology and counseling. Ariana has worked in private practice in Pennsylvania, working with adults, children and families. She has also worked as a Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC) and a Mobile Therapist (MT) working with families, children and the school system. She was also in private practice in the UK and has worked with children on the Autism Spectrum. |
